If you are trying to drop the front end 4 inches I would recommend replacing the stock front spindles with 3 inch drop spindles and replacing the front coil springs with 1 inch drop springs. If you cut the front springs to drop the front end 4 inches, proper alignment will be impossible.

How does one fix a sprung coil?

A sprung coil can be fixed rather cheaply and easily. SImply cut some twine and tie it around the spring in the way that when you tighten the string, it shortens the length of the coil. Tie twine on both sides of the spring to ensure even control.

How do you correctly cut suspension springs on car?

It was an old way to lower cars, you'd have to cut a coil off the bottom so that the spring end is in the same place in the spring perch( hacksaw or cut off wheel-NO torching). For safety reason it is not recommended, since the spring rate is the same, the chance of bottoming out is high. The spring also might have softened up due to age/usage. Most cars have aftermarket spring available that increase the rate to prevent this, this is the route I'd recommend.

What are the purposes of connecting condensers to tweeters?

Speaker is a cupper coil that vibrates and thus making sound. Music is a AC current that flows thru this coil. At low frequencis the resistance of a coil is low and this low resistance means high current that may damage speaker coil. The cendenser cut this low frequencis so only the high frequencis can drive the tweeter and make it safe. Overall at AC current lower the frequency lower the coil resistance and higher the condenser resistance. Higher the frequency higher the coil resistence and lower the condenser resistence.

Elderly parent's mattress is too high how can you lower a mattress?

One way to lower a mattress is by removing the box spring or using a lower-profile foundation. You can also look into purchasing a thinner mattress or using bed risers to elevate the bed frame instead. It's important to ensure that the solution chosen is safe and comfortable for your elderly parent.

How many inches of block lift can be put on an 1988 Jeep Comanche without modifying brake lines or suspension etc?

None. The Comanche uses a spring under axle setup and blocking the axle would lower the vehicle. However, if you can use a torch and weld, you can cut your spring mounts, do some grinding and relocate them to the topside of the axle housing, and turn it into a spring over axle setup, giving you about 4.5in. of lift in the rear.

How do you lower a car?

there a few different possibilities depending on your car and budget. first you have to decide what suspension type you have - the three main suspension types are coil spring, torsion bar and/or leaf spring. to lower coil spring suspension you just buy replacement springs, or if your budget will stretch that far go for adjustable platform suspension. (alternatively you can get your angle grinder out and cut them - but not recommended) with leaf springs you can buy lowering blocks which go in between the spring and axle, lifting the axle up into the body of the vehicle, thus lowering it (cheap option) the better (and dearer option) is to get the leafs reset which flattens them, thus lowering the vehicle. and finaly, torsion bars - the more complicated type to lower. some cars you can wind them up(or down) by using a ratchet to wind up a bolt, or another type requires you to remove the spline from the suspension and rotate the shaft a couple of splines, and put it back together, lowering the suspension.

How do you lower a 1984 Mazda B2000?

The 84 is not as easy to lower as the later models because it has coil springs in the front and newer models have torsion bar suspension. To lower an 84 you can cut the coil springs shorter and install lowering blocks in the rear. You can also remove the rear leafs and have the de-arched. Do not cut the springs with a torch as this will ruin the temper and they will collapse, instead use a cut off wheel. Another way to lower the front is with drops spindles or control arms but I do not know if any are made for the 1st gen trucks. After cutting the front springs the truck will require a front alignment to bring you're camber and toe into specs, if you don't you will eat through tires quickly.
