It depends on how much you have used and for how long you have used oxycontin. If you have been using it for quite some time then please consider finding a doctor to help you wean off the drug.
However, if you insist on doing it yourself at home please do it slowly. Start with your usual amount, make your next dose 1/4 less and use this dose for at least a few days, then cut it again by 1/4 and use for a few weeks, then that amount by 1/2 and use for at least a couple weeks. when you are down to the smallest amount use that amount less frequently : for example if you were using it 3 or 4 times a day take it just twice or once a day until you feel ready to stop. You can use over the counter nausea medications, advil for headaches, pink pepto for diarrhea and chamomile tea to calm your nerves. There may be other natural remedies for effects of withdrawal you may want to Google. Please avoid a rapid detox! In other words don't take a high dose and then just stop. If you cannot stop slowly please seek medical attention. I wish you the best and hope you are able to achieve your goal.
Oxycodone is almost the same thing as hydrocodone. Oxy is made with oil, while hydro with water. Oxy is the better pain killer, but as far as detoxing safely, why detox and start the same drug?
You DO NOT. If an injection is needed, your doctor will obtain the correct medication, and oxycodone is not it.
Forever. They don't actually detox your foot. They don't do anything. The sweat from your foot is responsible for the color change, not toxins.
no, none I am aware of and I am pretty aware... some will work for marijuana such as Herbal Cleanse
if your detox process does not include any medications such as methadone or suboxone or another opiate you should be safe, although I don't necessarily see the point in detoxing from one opiate, only to start using another.
Detox, The natural process of eliminating a chemical from the body is known as drug detox. A professional drug detox program, often known as “medically managed withdrawal,” on the other hand, comprises a series of treatments (such as medicines and other therapies) to control the adverse effects of stopping drugs safely.
Deetox diets do work and they are safe. They range from three days to twenty one days. Some of the detox diets are in the form of capsules, while others are more fruit/vegetable based. If you are still breast feeding, don't use the capsule detox diet. Talk to a dietician to see what they would recommend for a good detox diet.
The detox treatment center is a facility that enables substance users to start the recovery process as safely and comfortably as possible. The medical staff personalizes treatment according to the addict’s needs, trying to identify the best therapies and practices that might generate a positive response on their part.
It may help with the withdrawls yes, but hten you are going to be addicted to the pain pill so it's best just to go to the hospital and have them detox you in the ER and go home and tough it out as bad as it seems!! Good luck friend!
Forever it's the worst to even try and detox my best suggestion is to just keep blowing those pills and enjoy it
