How to reset airbag light
Replace seat pad
the meaning of the yellow trangular light on the dash board of the 2003 seat leon car
Most of the time the airbag light is because of a bad sensor in the seat belt receptacle, most often the drivers side. have the computer scanned to be totally sure. Replace part, have the computer scanned again to get the fault code deleted.
the light is to warn you the tyre pressure is low
you don't! - hahahah sucker
You will need to take your vehicle to the dealership to reset the airbag light on an Ibiza. However, you could try to disconnect the battery, sometimes that will reset it.
Replacing the seatbelts involves removing several interior trim panels, unfortunately almost all of them, starting from the front. If the seatbelt will no longer retract, it is non-functioning and needs replacement. Seat belts should ALWAYS be replaced after an accident involving airbag deployment. The airbag light is telling you the dealer or a qualified mechanic needs to do some slightly dangerous work replacing the airbags and the airbag controller.
No. The Magnum has a sensor in the passenger seat that detects if there is sufficient weight to turn the airbag on. With the vehicle running, sit in the driver's seat reach over and push down on the passenger seat. You will notice the "Passenger Airbag OFF" light right above the stereo going off and on.
That light either indicates that the airbag is on/off. The passenger seat has a smart sensor within it which senses the weight and position of what/who is in the seat. Coupled with/without seat belt usage it will turn on/off depending on exact situation in that seat as to function or not based on it's calculated determination.
My "Passenger Airbag Off" light is illuminated even when I have a passenger is in the right seat. Isn't there a sensor in the right seat that is supposed to turn the airbag on when I have a passenger?
BUMP! Can anyone help with this question? Tried using stated method for older Seat Leon's, but it doesn't seem to work.
