The land masses give rise to the Atlantic Ocean "conveyor" which keeps Western Europe warm. Other oceanic currents are created by the land masses, such as the one between South America and Antarctica, but the land masses aren't the direct cause in this effect on climate. The position of the land masses can effect the climate of the area, but not on a global scale. Siberia, for example, is not near any large sources of water, such as an ocean, and thus is extremely cold. Land masses of ice, like Antarctica and the Arctic Circle, reflect a large amount of sunlight cool the planet.
it all depends on how high the land is. the higher it is, the colder its going to be. also if your in a valley or gorge then it will be less windy and rainy because the valley or gorge creates a protective wall to each side.
Ok I am for sure this is the answer. Large land masses tend to be dark and so they absorb much of the sun's rays as heat energy, causing the temperature to rise.
Because of the major mountains. and grass plants and other things need sun light to grow and that making heat and cold air.
Landforms effect climate by the elevation. Like on a mountain the climate would be very cold. On the ground it would be very warm or just warm.

Tornadoes are most often associated with plains areas, but they can occur in any sort of terrain. Climate has a bigger influence on tornado activity than topography does.
There are no differents. They are truely the same.
I dont know but if anybody can tell me i need it for my homework!
On one side of the world, a sharp wind blows across the golden sand, rattling the dry tumbleweed. At the same time on another continent, a warm rain begins to fall, dripping down the broad green leaves and onto the musky soil. The climate and landforms of the area create the different qualities of a biome, from mountains to the Mediterranean. Climate and landforms are the two factors that determine what characteristics a biome has. Climate plays in important role for the temperature of a place. Is it hot in the summer and cold in the winter? Mild yearround? The weather and precipitation affect what grows in a place, such as sparse shrubs in the Alpine Tundra or lush trees in the Rain forest. Landforms also effect what grows in an area. Rocky hills won't support Mediterranean biomes, which have a large plant and life diversity. Alpine Tundra or Boreal Forests are more suited for these rocky areas. The landforms of mountains may affect the climate. The rain shadow effect from mountains creates a temperate forest on one side and grassland on the other! The diversity of biomes, even on the same content, is also due to landforms. To create a wide diversity of biomes, climate and landforms work together. Climate determines the season's temperature and growth. Landforms stabilize the plants and sometimes the precipitation. With a wide field of many biome, landforms and climate are imperative to determine the characteristics of a biome.

If there are mountains blocking an area, then the area will be warmer. If you are by a body of water, than the air will be colder. There are many more ways landforms can effect climate, and these are just a few examples.

The provinces that are affecting the climate will depend on your location. The landforms in most provinces will definitely affect the climate. Mountains, lakes and other landforms will influence the climate to a greater part.
Varied climate and landforms exist in Nepal due to the various landscapes and its geographical condition.
Illinois and Chicago are identical in terms of climate and landforms and population, since Chicago is a part of Illinois.
Landforms effect weather events and rainfall because of the way air passes over them. Mountains create a orographic even in which wind passing over a mountain is cooled and lifted. Landforms at the coastline affects weather by cooling down more rapidly than land elsewhere.
Climate is dramatically effected by landforms. Elevation and latitude effect temperature. Mountains trap rainfall on one side, creating deserts and rainforests. As such, the study of geography and climate go hand in hand.
landforms affect our settlements and our culture.
