The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust manifold, sometimes accessable from underneath the car. It resembles a sparkplug. What can make them hard to replace is they can seize up due to the many hot/cold cycles that they go thru plus the corrosion. A day before you replace it, soak it with PB BLASTER a great penetrant.Also check the wrench size you will need. Good luck.

Locate sensor in exhaust pipe below exhaust manifold. When cold, unpug the wiring connector above it. Wires are permanent to the top of the sensor. Spray the lower body (near threads) with penetrating oil; like PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench. Let soak. For easy removal slip large BOX wrench over sensor and loosen to remove; then replace with new unit.

You have to first remove the transmission oil pan and the valve body. The Range sensor is relatively easy after that.
You can find it under the upper timing belt cover next to the camshaft gear. But you do not need to remove the cover to replace it. There is a mounting bolt which you have locate. It should be attached to the cylinder head but it might not easy to reach.
