Monks wear a tunic and a cowl. There is also a scapula for work, stockings and shoes. The scapula is a garment consisting of a long wide piece of woolen cloth worn over the shoulders with an opening for the head.

we wear what is called ordained robes... there are certain criteria for these robes...such as they must be a certain colour... they must be a certain length... they must be worn at certain times... thy cannot be worn at certain times... and there are even guidlines to washing them... hear is a picture....

this is called a Tongak... it is a type of vest that goes over the Ngulen

this is called a Meyok it is lik the the under skirt or boxers if you will...

this is called a Shanthap it is the over robe or skirt

this one is called a Zen. it is like a wrap or shawl it is the over robe.
