By leaning on God, and if someone we know lost their life, we trust God to take care of them in eternity. People draw close to God and pray and grieve. If it is physical suffering, we get what medical help we can and pray and move forward. We never know how much time we have on earth, so remember to be caring while your here.
Through some act of divine intervention, the god/godess the person aligns themself with can heal them, ridding them of all of their humanly woes.

Having the belief in god helps peopl ecope with suffering because it makes someone feel as if they are lost without a family member they have somewhere to go to for example prayer and a church where they can talk to god and having that existance makes them feel less alone and more able to cope.

Persecutors are people who treat someone badly because of their religious beliefs. In the Bible, Jesus urged people to treat their oppressors with kindness and to "turn the other cheek" to their injustices against oneself.
