There are two bolts to the left of the battery box when you are facing it. One bolt keeps the battery box from falling down. This is the vertical bolt underneath the unused ignition switch hole. The other bolt head is facing you and is used to keep the box secured to the frame. Loosen the horizontal bolt and remove it. Then remove the vertical bolt. the battery box will pivot down and will let you remove the chrome cover. Remove the top of the battery box first and then the cover.
Remove the protective cover over the battery (if your car still has one). Loosen/remove the bolts that hold the battery securely in the battery tray. Remove the GROUND lead first and move it out of the way. Remove the HOT lead and move it out of the way. Remove battery. Re-install the battery in the reverse order.

The black clips will need to be removed they pry up in the middle to remove them, remove the cover over the battery and the cover along the windshield then you can remove the 2 ,10mm bolts that hold the battery bracket to remove the battery, let me know if you have more questions,
