To remove the AC vent in a Mazda 3, start by using a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the trim surrounding the vent. Once the trim is removed, look for screws or clips securing the vent in place and remove them. Gently pull the vent out of its housing, being cautious not to damage any surrounding components. Finally, disconnect any electrical connectors if applicable before fully removing the vent.

To accurately measure a floor vent for replacement or repair, use a measuring tape to determine the length and width of the vent opening. Measure from the inside edges of the vent to ensure a proper fit. Additionally, note any unique features such as slats or louvers that may affect the replacement process.
You will need to remove the center air vent diffuser. Gently prior around the center dual vent to find and release the holding clips. Slide the vent out. The flasher is on the left inside and is removed from the vent opening. Pricey part coming from China.
Replace the evaporative vent valve. It closes in order to seal the vent so the system can pressurize and ensure there are no leaks.
