Science does not necessarily directly relate with human needs. That's where technology comes in. Technology is the application of science (or other methods/knowledge).
Which subjects are investigated using the scientific method depends on the person(s) who are using these methods, those who are funding it (if it needs funding), the applicable laws, among other things. However, despite these connections, the scientific method is removed from many of the human connections. Scientists are taught to be quantitative as opposed to qualitative; to repeat tests/experiments over and over beyond common sense; to be unbiased observers; among other things. The fact that most people are unable/unwilling to be scientists testifies to the degree with which the scientific method is withdrawn from normal human needs/methods.
Technology, being the application, takes from what science learned and applies it. For example, a scientist may spend years performing stress tests on various materials. An inventor or an engineer may read over the published data from the scientist and use that knowledge to build a better building.
One way to put it would be to say that the 3 things, human needs, technology, and science are separated from each other in a line, human needs being on the far right, science being on the far left, and technology being a bridge between the two.
Technology
Technology is a way of changing the natural world to meet human needs to solve a problem.
Science needs technology so that it will have new tools for observing the universe. Technology needs science for the fundamental ideas needed for improving or creating technology.
Science came first, as it involves the study of the natural world and the principles that govern it. Technology, on the other hand, is the application of scientific knowledge to solve specific problems or meet human needs.
Technology- the application of science to meet human needs. Scientists did not know that tiny organisms such as bacteria even existed until the technology to make precision magnifying lenses developed in the late 1600's. Hope That this helped!!! what is the function of chemical technology?
This question needs to be rewritten using proper grammar. First, "relate" is a transitive verb and therefore needs an object. Just saying does an object relate makes no sense at all. Second, even if you had a direct object in this sentence technology cannot really "relate" to anything. I hope this will help you fix this question.
Technology is the scientific knowledge used in practical ways in industry for example in designing new machines The first definition of technology was:Technology is the use of knowledge skills and resources to meet human needs and to solve problems. And Science is the study of physical earth. So technology in science could mean that one physical element if atom can used to prevent another if it is harmful.e.g
Technology is how people change the world around them to meet their needs, and science is the study of the natural world to understand how it functions.
