Here are some theories:
Food Shortages
During the ice age, Whales which were once prey to Megalodon went to the colder places where Megalodons couldn't follow because it was too cold. The whales had blubber which kept them warm.
Evolution
By the end of the Pliocene, the whales were getting quicker due to years of evolution and it became harder for the megalodons to hunt them.
Orcas
Killer whales started hunting in the same areas. When they were done eating, there wasn't much left for the Megalodon. The Orcas Also killed young megalodons.
Great Whites
Adults Great White Sharks which coexisted megalodon, preyed on Meg pups, or outcompeted Meg juveniles. They were more expereinced even though the pups were about the same size
Uh. It lives out its life expectancy, gets sick, gets hurt by another animal or another shark...pretty much how lots of other creatures die? Their metabolic processes cease to exist.
can dolphins kill sharks
no they do not eat sharks because a shark is to big for them to eat but they can kill sharks
No they do not.
No, sharks kill more.
They don't cause great white sharks kill them.
yes great white sharks eat other sharks
No.
no.
Any type of sharks.
there is more blood and that means more sharks since sharks are attrated to blood so the best tip is to don't kill a shark until it trys to kill you and if it does kill it but if there are other sharks just try to dodge it with as little movement as possible as sharks can sense any movement
Sharks aren't normally prey, but things that will kill a shark are humans and other sharks.
No we kill them
