does anyone know of a website to go to for a illustration drawing of the front rotorson a 4x4 1999 ford ranger?
Lock your front axles into place allowing all four tires to turn
pull off front dif cover take the bolt out of the bottom of the center pin and slide the center pin out but first take the horse shoe clip off the end of the shaft.
if front wheel drive check cv axles.
You have to take the differential cover off and an take clips off the two axles they slide right out
Math formula? If you have a sliding fifth wheel and sliding tandems, then you move them as needed to get yourself legal... moving trailer tandems forwards takes weight off of the drive axles and transfers it to the trailer axles... moving trailer tandems back takes weight off the trailer axles and transfers it to the drive axles. Sliding a fifth wheel to the rear takes weight off your steer axle and transfers it to the drive axles... sliding a fifth wheel to the front takes weight off of your drive axles and transfers it to the steer axle. If you can't manipulate your weight this way, and be within bridge formula, then you either have it reloaded/have something taken off of the load, or you dodge the scalehouses and hope that you don't run into portable scales.
If the nuts won't turn, then i would grind them off with a cutting disc, or just burn them off with a cutting torch.
there is one under the hood on the right side towrds the front..in front of the computer and the other is under the dash on the driver side...its on the side and theres a plastic panal u have to take off
take off the wheel. unbolt the 2 lower strunt bolts, to swing the brake assembly out, pull that end of the axel out, then give the axel a good pull out and it should pop out of the transmission.
Behind the black plastic timing cover of the camshaft , slightly above and right of crankshaft pully on 3.0L V6 ; mine just went out today. Put passenger side on front jackstand, take off R front tire, take of plastic wheelwell liner in front of axelshaft for access. Take off timing cover shroud above, take off belts and next the Crankshaft pully for access. Replace Crankshaft Position Sensor and reverse steps. GOOD Luck
how do you take the front panel off the radio of a 2001 town and country
The front bearings are pressed into the hub. Take the axles out of the hub and remove the steering knuckle/hub assembly. Take them to a machine shop and have the bearings pressed out and back in again. The rear bearings you just take off the grease cap. Unstake the keeper washer and take the nut off. Then you can pull the outer bearings out. then replace the nut on the spindle and pull out again which will take the inner bearing out along with the seal.
