A tardigrade is a water bear, a member of the phylum Tardigrada.
Tardigrades eat Moss.
No
I've read they are transparent, but cannot verify this.
The key to the tardigrade (water bears) survival is its cryptopic stage; because without this, many abilities would be taken away, such as a high immunity to radiation. The Tardigrade is almost dead in the cryptobiotic stage, other than the fact that it can revive itself from this state. Because there is no water in the body of the Tardigrade while in a cryptobiotic state to aid metabolism, the Tardigrade cannot go through any physical changes (from self) while dehydrated.
By dropping infected fleas into wild rabit populations.
Nothing. They are too small to be affected.
From the 2011 census its populations is 3 million
The koala does not transmit any diseases to humans. However, they do spread disease within their own populations. A major threat to the koala populations of Australia is the organism chlamydia, which has four major effects:blindnesspneumoniaurinary tract infectionreproductive tract infections, ultimately rendering animals infertile.Scientists are still working on a cure, as this disease is easily spread, and decimating some of the populations on the mainland.
