Europe is warmer than it should be given its latitude because of the N.A.D. The North Atlantic Drift is an underwater current that forces warm water from the Carribean, east all the way to the Western end of Eurasia. In addition, the N.A.D. brings with it prevailing winds which lose most of its heat when they cross Portugual. Another example of currency is Lake Michigan. Since water changes temperature slowly, the closer you are to the lake in the summer the cooler it is and the closer you are to the lake in the winter the warmer it is. Therefore, Europe is warmer than it should be due to climactic changes brought about by the N.A.D.
The prevailing westerlies winds are responsible for pushing most of the weather movement.
It doesn't MEAN good weather; it's just that with the prevailing weather patterns moving from west to east around the world, a "red sky at night" indicates that the skies far to the west are clear and not filled with clouds. So twelve hours later, the sky still ought to be clear. It is more a statistical argument than anything else.
what beautiful weather! because weather is an uncountable name.
no weather
No the moon has no weather.
Prevailing westerly
The North Atlantic Current brings warmer weather to Europe (typically Western Europe but also Northern Europe).
the western cyclonic disturbance is the weather phenomena of the winter months brought in by the westerly flow from the Mediterranean region .the usually influence the weather of the north and the north Western regions of India .

I know that Michigan (and most of the Great Lakes area) has "westerly" prevailing winds. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find out whether that means the winds blow from the west (to the east) or to the west (from the east). I had a weather vane that seemed to point West pretty consisantly, which makes me believe that "westerly" prevailing winds must blow towards the west, although I can't say definitely. A Westerly wind, is blowing out of or comming from the west and moving east. So when you read a weather report it will say "NW at 9mph" meaning it is comming out of a northwesterly direction moving to the southeast and obviously the wind speed is 9mph.
the prevailing winds affect or weather because when wind kicks up it takes miosture into the atmosphere!
They make the temperature of Western Europe warmer than areas of the same latitude. For example, take the two cities of London and Juneau; they are both at the same latitude (60 N). Their coldest months are both January, but the average January day in Juneau is -5.5 C (-22.1 F) while the average January day in London is 10.4 C (13.3 F).
Climate is defined as the prevailing weather conditions in an area in general. Or it can refer to the prevailing weather conditions over a long period.
Climate
Because Great Britain (England) is generally at the same latitude as Canada, weather systems as well as wind generally move from west to east. Countries closer to the equator such as Mexico, has weather and wind that generally moves from east to west.
