Generally, the protocol is that they try to minimize any suffering. It depends on the tests, though. Sometimes, the animals may be administered certain things that may cause suffering. However, this is done only under circumstances that it is absolutely necessary.
does animal testing mutate the animalsyes, it mutates the animals genes
Some of the arguments for are that it saves human lives, humans are superior to animals and the animals do not know that its happening. Some of the arguments against animal testing are its cruel to animals, animals have rights as well, you should treat animals the same as humans and theres alternatives out there to animal testing. On one side you have the for the other against. The opposing position against probably says it is nessacary for the animal testing because animals are about the same as humans. On the against position animal testing is wrong because it can cause the animal deadly pain and diseases. But I think there should be a human in the place of an animal because animals have feelings.
well if the testing is from animal haters the animal will die but if they are good it will live......
Yes because lots of animals die from animal testing witch lowers that animals species
If animal testing continues the death of the these animals could follow. The death of these animals could lead to the imbalance of our environment.
I think none! Testing products on animals is animal testing which I strongly disagree with! Animal testing, if it goes wrong its the animal that suffers. Animal testing can put a lot of stress and pain on animals. I think that animals deserve rights to be free of being tested with things that cause them pain and even kill them.
None
The kind of people that want animal testing are the people that want to see animals get hurt and the people who dont like animals.
Almost all animal rights activists are adamantly against testing drugs on animals.
In Washington state from 2007 to 2008, roughly 1850 animals died due to animal testing :(
no, animal testing shouldn't be done. it is cruel. why would you test a cleaner on an animal... i mean its insane what they do to these animals. :)
Yes, many animal byproducts are used within cosmetics and animals are routinely tested upon - even if a company claims not to support animal testing, they may use research based on animal testing by other companies or be owned by a parent company who use animal testing. Proctor & Gamble are the worst for this, they not only use animal testing but have supported grossly unethical animal testing and outright torment animals - aka Huntington Life Sciences.
