You will be working under the car, so observe safety rules concerning wheel chocks, axle stands, etc.

Jack up OS front and remove road wheel.
Remove damaged belt if any.
Examine the tensioner assembly for wear. There should be little play at either the arm or the idler.
Pass a loop of the new belt from underneath and locate over the alternator and steering pump pulleys (ribs inward)
On the bit of belt hanging down from the alternator make a loop and pass between the crankshaft and water pump pulleys (gap is narrow). Put loop over the tension idler (the plastic one).
Pass the belt round the crankshaft pulley.

You will now be left with the belt installed EXCEPT for the air conditioning pulley.
Get a 19mm socket and shortish knuckle bar or ratchet. Put the socket on the hex lump of ally cast into the tensioner arm.
Pull the bar or ratchet towards the front of the car, this will compress the tensioner, you can then install the belt over the air conditioner pulley.

Blip the starter motor to settle the belt then start the engine on tickover.
Check that the belt is running true on all pulleys. The air conditioner pulley will not move until you put the AC on.

Replace road wheel and remove jack. JOB DONE
