Im in the process of doing this right now. Alot more than i had anticipated.
The toughest thing you will come up against is removing the crankshaft pulley bolt. It is a 24mm. I tried everything possible for over 5 hours before resorting to the "starter" method. I broke 1 breaker bar, shattered 1 6pt socket, bent a 4 ft long torque bar... The bolt is a standard regular threaded bolt. Righty tighty..lefty loosy!! I used a breaker bar with a cut off handle (via my grinder) which left about 13+ inches. Put the 24mm air wrench socket on the bolt head with a 4 inch extension stickin out. Then attach the 13" breaker bar and set it at around 10 Oclock from the front of the engine... The engine turns clockwise when the starter is engaged. When you crank the starter the bar will turn about 110 degrees and "smack" into the frame that sits below the radiator. The sound is horrific! But, it actually worked on the third attempt. I tried every way possible to avoid doing it this way cause it just sounded so stupid. But it worked! So i have to recommend it. The factory manual method will just keep turning the engine over even when youre in 5th with the ebrake on and blocks on each wheel.

It is unlikely that the door from a 1986 Isuzu Trooper will fit a 1990 Isuzu Trooper directly due to differences in design and specifications between the two model years. It is recommended to check with a local auto parts store or dealership to confirm compatibility and explore potential modifications needed for proper fitment.
