Try turning the key to "on" position without starting vehicle and depressing accelerator pedla to the floor 6 times and then start vehicle or just look in your owner's manual. Surely you have not lost it already.
Turn the ignition to the on position and put the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. Many GM products reset this way. If that doesn't do it,read the drivers manual. It will tell you how to reset the change engine oil light.

I called the Chrysler dealership and they stated that you have to turn the key to the "on" position, do not start the car and tap the gas pedal 3 consecutive times. After that is complete turn the car off and then turn it on again. I have not tried it yet but will soon. i tried it...it works
Their should be directions in the operators manual that came with the car, otherwise with other Pontiac cars try - 1. turn on ignition to on, do not start engine. 2. within 5 seconds pump foot feet three times 3. this should turn off service soon light. good luck
Stole this info from the net. It's worth a try. To reset "CHANGE OIL" light, turn the ignition switch to the run position without starting the engine. Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem and have codes cleared
Fill your coolant reservoir and the light should turn off. Do it soon or your engine may over heat.
