If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, the easiest way is simply to type 'cmd' into the search box on the Start menu, then choose cmd.exe from the results.
If you have any older Windows, like Windows Xp, windows 98 etc.
You will have to search for it, click start, and look under accessories.
When you use command prompt, your looking for files, or IP addresses. To look for files, but if your looking for IP addresses then you type, tracert, and then type the IP address. for example, I want to look for more IP addresses for Google. so I type tracert Google.com and then numbers will come. you can use those numbers for, lets say your school blocks some websites, use those number IP addresses to go on it. like you tube or big booger. That's all I know lol. if you have anything to add just add it!

you can also use CMD to make yourself an admisnistrator, change add, remove profiles. I cant give any descriptions, but you can also use it to hack anything. That's ALL im going to say. Of course if I do it at school, I could be suspended.

How do i go to command prompt without booting the windows. I pressed F8 and selected safe mode with command prompt. The reason i am trying is I forgot my windows pwd and i found one option to change the pwd through command prompt
