The plastic panel the houses the light assembly needs to be removed. The plastic panel is clipped in. To remove it carefully pull it out starting from the left side of the panel at the top and moving down to the right ending on the right. Be careful that the clips don't fall of the plastic panel. You may need to use some strength but it will come off. The light assembly is attached to the rear door. To remove it press down on the top of the red cover. Turn the light socket counter clockwise until you can pull it out. To remove the light bulb pull it out of the socket. It is a 921 18w bulb a very common high mount stop light bulb. The bulb can be purchased at most car parts stores such as Canadian Tire, Napa auto parts or Lordco auto parts. Push the new bulb into the socket. To replace the socket match it up with the lens and turn clockwise to lock in place. Make sure the wires are on the left and the open end of the lens is toward you. Install the assembly back on the door starting with the bottom and snap it back in place. Replace the plastic panel and reclip it by punching it with the side of your fist starting at the left. Punch the entire panel to ensure all clips are reclipped.
