you have to share limewire with your itunes. In itunes/limewire, share the files, and the songs will automatically go onto your itunes. Then do what you would normally.
Convert them to .mp4 files.
If you cant get your files to "drag" to your itunes. then Open your itunes and in the file menu click add folder to library. this will add all the files in that folder to your itunes library as long as they are Songs or videos. Unless you changed where youre Limewire saves your downloaded music files it typically saves them in a smaller folder inside of a larger folder that holds your applications. On a mac you would have to click finder, applications and then find limewire and your music should be there. on windows you might have to go to windows explorer to find the limewire folder that has your music. You can also check where limewire is saving your songs in your application preferences. Once you locate where limewire is saving your files go into iTunes and click file, add to library. then click browse and navigate through that menu the same way you did to find your files from limewire, click on them and click add.

Music is put on the iPod by iTunes. Downloaded music must first be added to the iTunes Libray by iTunes [File > Add to Library], then iTunes will put it onto the iPod. If necessary, music must converted into a format that is usable by iTunes. This depends on your set up. iTunes will try to convert files as it adds them to the library.
You can open iTunes and Limewire at he same time and drag the songs from your Limewire to the iTunes. OR You can open iTunes, select 'File' then select 'Add Folder [or File] to Library' and your computer files will pop up. You then select your Limewire 'Saved' file and there will be a pop-up showing that it is copying your files.
There should be a folder in your documents called "Limewire". Inside that folder is the "Saved" Folder, which is where the files should be. While you are running itunes, click file, then add file or folder, navigate to the "Saved" folder, and select the music you want to add.Alternatively you can go into the "Saved" folder, cut all the files and put them into your "Music" folder.
