Buy a kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with instructions You shouldn't...freon in your car is under high pressure and takes special equipment to do properly. In addition, today's cars require a very specific quantity of freon to work properly. Too much will result in high internal pressures and heat, too little will prevent proper lubrication...both of these conditions will lead to an early death of the compressor and a very expensive repair. There is an organization where you can get more info, and I have help in locating good mechanics on my site. See the related links for more info. Hope this helps!
It contains no Freon. It contains a refrigrant called R134a. Look here http://members.tripod.com/~jbabs714/autoac.htm
How do you add freon to a 1999 Honda Passport
In my 93 Isuzu Rodeo you have to add your transmission fluid buy poring it into the the transmission fluid dipstick.
On the 2002 Rodeo the transmission is sealed and is non servicable by the owner. You cannot even check the fluid level so I advise taking it to an Isuzu repair shop.
u have to add and tighten them down

If you mean transmission oil, you don't add any. The transmission is sealed, it never needs oil.
It contains no Freon. It contains R134a refrigerant and you add it to the low pressure port which is the larger pipe.
The 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck has two ports on top of the air conditioner compressor. You will add Freon through the low pressure port.
On the suction side, the low side...................
There is one valve that is used to add refrigrant. But you had better not add Freon. Freon is R12 and your vehicle's A/C system does not have Freon (R12) as a refrigrant. More than likely it uses R134a.
It is either on or near the recievr dryer in the right rear of the engine compartment. To corrrectly add freon, you need gauges and a refrigerant recovery system
Its best to use a set of a/c gauges but if you are not then just add the freon to the low side which will be the larger hose (suction side)...
