There are two tracks of audio for Windows Movie Maker. One track for the audio in the video you imported and another to add sound effects or a musical overlay. If you want to have both a musical overlay and sound effects, you just have to create your video with the music overlay or sound effects that you want first. Then, re-import the completed video with the sound effects or music overlay on it, and you'll you have fresh audio track to add whatever you want again. This is a "dirty" way to add as many sound tracks as you want using Moviemaker.
Yeah, they exist.

Movie Maker is included in the Windows system software bundle (Example: Windows Xp, Vista).
Windows Movie Maker has many effects. Probably more than you would ever use in a project. I estimate the program having at least 15 to 20 effects to choose from. Mind you, I have never really counted them.
Yes.
You can download Windows Movie Maker v2.6 (for Vista) from the link provided below in the Related Linkssection.
There are three versions of Windows Movie Maker:Windows Movie Maker v2.1 (for Windows XP)Windows Movie Maker v2.6 (for Vista/7)Windows Live Movie Maker (Vista/7 Support only)The only differences between versions are add-on features and OS dependency.
You can download free Windows Movie Maker effects from rehanfx.org, but they were specifically designed for Windows XP (not newer versions of the program) so they may not work too well on Vista operating systems if you can get them to work at all.I have however, found a site that offers various effects and transitions that will work (if you follow the installation instructions correctly). You can download them from the URL posted below:http://movies.blainesville.com/2007/02/custom-speed-effects-for-movie-maker-xp.html
