How do you add transmission fluid to a manual transmission in a 1986 Ford F-150?

theres two bolts, one on the side to put fluid in, and one neer the bottom to drain it. It's kind of tricky, to see if it need's any take the side bolt out and stick your little finger in to feel how much is in it and go from there.
