The buttons on the left side of the steering wheel navigate the menu's for the display functions. I think it is the settings menu that will get you to the clock. Then all you have to do is hit buttons until the right setting is established. Why do they make life so complicated???
The cost of the actual bulb in the instrument panel for a Mercedes ml320 averages $40.00. A certified technician can charge between $100.00 and $200.00 to change the bulb.
I located the instrument panel illumination lights on my 1990 Nissan D21 Pick-up by removing the clear plastic panel that protects the gauges and pulling the instrument panel forward. To do this, screws must be removed from the dash panel located around the instrument panel. There are also screws securing the clock adjustment knob and the glass/instrument panel itself. The bulbs twist into the backside of the instrument panel. There are several of them. As usual, the exact info is in the manual, however if you have a Navigation unit, the time is set automatically based on the atomic clocks from GPS satellites. In other cases, you can set that when stationary by cyling through the instrument panel menus using the steering menu button (left side lower button) This menu usually says " settings can only be changed when stationary". Some settings may need you to press the ^v R buttons by the left side of the instrument cluster. hth, Vic
Use the controls on the door panel. Theres also one that will move the steering wheel in and out.
