If your Nissan is '97 or newer, there is a computer mounted below the passenger seat that controls idle speed. Remove the 4 bolts holding the passenger seat, take it out, and use a flat screwdriver to adjust idle speed. make sure the engine is off and adjust only a little at a time until the desired rpm is attained. Be warned, it might affect emmissions test.
The fast idle-speed on a 1994 Nissan D21 pickup is adjusted by turning the screw on the side of the throttle body. It increases the speed of the engine when the vehicle is idle before completely warming up.
Your 1994 Chevy pickup won't shift gears fast enough when the ac is on because their is a problem with it.
well a lot of things but the Nissan skyline is a very fast car
Fast Enough. - 2007 350z owner.
You asking about a Corvette or S-10 pickup?
You can adjust your speed and go as fast as 120 steps a minute on this machine!
it goes 193mph(310khp)
It tops out at 117MPH
Yes it does.
the nissan gtr alpha 12 can go almost 250 mph.
not sure about nissan. i heard their 2012 tacoma or altima can get weed out of any system.
dodge charger nissan 350z
over 100,000rpm is the turbo speed.
well Mitsubishi eclipse is a fast car but I really think that Nissan 350z is faster.
YOU CAN'T. It is not adjustable and is NOT to be tampered with. VERY important to leave it alone. You have another problem with the engine sensors if it is idleing to fast are to slow. Is the check engine light on ? If it is you need to have the engine SCANNED with an engine scanner.Check for vacuum leak that will cause it to idle to fast. TPS/ Throttle position sensor may be bad too.
The idle speed is not adjustable on this car. It has fuel injection, so the computer is responsible for controling the idle speed. You can adjust it on carburated engines, but not on injected ones. (At least that's the idea. There is a throtle position bolt somewhere around the air intake throttle, but it is highly unrecommended to touch it.) So, look for other causes of bad idling. M. Scosyrev. Not so fast ! you can change the air adjustment and it will speed up or slow down the rpm. I saw the Nissan Man do it with a screw driver.YES!!! The shop manual has a specific procedure to adjust the idle speed.
i guess probably like most cars 120 mph or 130 mph depends on what Nissan you choose.
A hybrid car is about 100mph. I have renyed them for city driving and I was surprised on their pickup.
It is very likely there is no way to adjust the idle on your car. If your car is idling low, it's probably a problem somewhere else. Idle is likely controlled by the computer.
