open the hood, remove the black plastic cover (you may have to remove 3-5 plastic pin tabs - but it just lifts off easily if the tabs are out). This will expose the back of the headlights.
You will see some screws coming out of the back of the headlights - they are 4mm socket size - but in my car I cannot get a 4mm socket around them while the lights are in the car. So you either need a 4mm wrench (good luck finding one!) that is long enough to reach in and turn them, or do what I did, get a Plumbing wrench, grip tight and turn those screws. The outer (which is on top) screws seem to move the lights up-down, and the inner (which is on the bottom) seem to move the lights right-left.
There are four adjustment screws under the rim that can be tightened or loosened for adjustments of the headlights on 2000 Ford Escort ZX2
Remove that wide black plastic piece above the headlights. Then using a 4 mm socket you have to turn the screws with black plastic around them.
Get a hammer and tell it to move or else

what year?
When you have the headlights flipped up then you will see 2 holes one on the top and one on the sides. There is a Phillips screw in there that you turn to adjust the headlights.
take off rear brake calpers and theres a set of brake shoes inside adj and reinstall
You have to take the headlights out. To do this, you have to remove the clips on the headlight under the hood. Once removed they are two adjustment screws that you can adjust. It's trial and error.
