you have a short to ground . have it check soon ! could be a door switch .
Perhaps you turned on the interior lights when you were adjusting the headlights?
Either the manual light switch is on or the door switch is damaged.
Check the lighter fuse.
pretty much, if your impalas like mine, when you start the car, your headlights will come on, but you should have a little nob to the left of your steering wheel. it should be in the middle, if you pull it out, your lights will stay on, even after turning off your car, if you push it all the way in, your lights will turn off, you can also turn it to adjust brightness of dome lights and dash lights.
According to the Owners Manual, fuse #29. See "Related Questions" below for more - especially if your dome lights stay on and you're getting a 'door ajar' chime/warning.
Adjust the brake switch which is above the brake pedal.
A likely cause is a faulty interior light dimming switch. This switch is directly connected to both the dash lights (for dimming), and the dome light (on/off).
you either have a bad door switch, any of them could be bad. or you have the lights physically turned on at the switch.
my park lights stay on and the dome light isn't working along with the sun visor mirror lights. and the radio works sometime ? Help ?
The dimmer switch has a setting which turns on the dome light. Just after turning it to high you should be able to 'click' it into the position required for the interrior lights.
