Possibly a Clogged transmission filter. Change the fluid and filter.
My answer is no; because of the complexity of the tranny. Leave tranny repair to the experts.
i suggest you either adjust the bands or get a new transmission.
the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car
The tranny ( or transaxle / transmission ) on a 1993 Mercury Tracer is in the engine compartment bolted to the engine on the drivers side of the engine
There is NO adjustment on that year. You either have a BAD Clutch slave cylinder are the clutch and pressure plate is worn out.
Yes it will it has the same two concertors on the tranny as the tiburon
powerglide is a tranny
Powerbrake the vehicle in drive and reverse and if you see them jump under hood, you may have a bad engine/tranny mount
Not for fitment issues but the WRX tranny is considerably weaker than the STi tranny and the extra power from the STi engine stands a good chance of causing a failure in the WRX tranny (especially the weak 2nd gear).
unhook everything on your engine and take your engine and tranny off the chassie. Then you remove the entire engine and tranny combo from your van. empty the transmission oil and undo the bolts connecting the transmission to the engine. The do it all in reverse and add new transmission fluid and whatever else fluid you had to empty to get your engine tranny combo out.
You just take all the bolts out of the tranny that holds it to the engine, take the tranny cooler lines off the tranny, unhook the shifter cable and unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel and your good to go.
