It's not adjustable.
To to adjust the throttle cable, first take off the air cleaner. Hold down the metal adjusting tab that is at the end of the cable.There is a sliding piece at the end of the cable, move it against the end. Let go of the adjusting tab then move the cable to the end.
The throttle cable does not go from the transmission to the throttle body.
if it is computer controlled then only the vacuum modulator can be adjusted. This will raise or lower mainline pressure in the trans. if it is hydraulically controlled, then you can also adjust the throttle pressure cable to increase or decrease throttle pressure

Underneath the driver's seat is a yellow switch.Push on the switch and flip the seat back.There's a knob that twists,Twist the knob and pull off access panel.There you will find the throttle cable to adjust idle.Any other questions contact sommercr@aol.com, I'll help if I can :)
Control cable worn? Bad throttle body assembly?
The 1992 Volvo 940 clutch cable will have adjustment swivel nuts on each end of the cable. Turn the swivel nuts to lengthen or shorten the clutch cable.
brake cable needs to be replaced or adjusted
underneath the front cable runs to the back onto the left and right , the nut is there
release the cable adjustment clamp. Have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor. Lock the cable adjustment clamp and scratch a mark. This is your MAX adjustment mark. While still holding pedal all the way to the floor, release cable adjustment clamp and move it back 5/16". This is your MIN adustment mark. Adust cable to center of the two marks (pedal still floored).
What sensor?? most are held on with screws..
