If you are referring to resetting the Check Engine Light then you will need to have someone with a scanner to do it. If you are referring to reprogramming the Engine Control Module then the dealer will do it.
check for vacuum leak.
If they are hydraulic, they should never need adjustement. if not, you adjust lash between arms & springs.
This question is not answerable without make model year and control system for the engine.
First you need to troubleshoot the 1994 LeSabre cruise control. Check the fuse, the cruise switch, the linkage, to find where the problem is. Check the vacuum lines on the engine as a vacuum leak can cause the cruise to not work properly.
The idle is control by the idle air control motor from outputs from the Engine Control Module.
Yes, it helps the engine control computer monitor and adjust the timing
Yes the ecm( engine control module)/ pcm( powertrain control module) are the same thing. Different manufacturers use different acronyms, ECU (engine control unit) is another often used.
You don't, it is done by the ECM (Engine Control Module).
where is the engine controle module located in a 1995 buick lesabre
you have to adjust the Idle position sensor on the throtle body,it has two small cap screws ,you loosen them and turn the sensor and tighten the screws when you reach the idle speed you want.the motor should be warm so you'll get the idle you want.make shure it's not to slow or the engine will die when you put it in gear.
you adjust while it is running
