engine has solid lifters need to turn each cylinder to top dead center using a socket and wrench on harmonic balancer then adjust valves to I think 30 thousands maybe more or maybe less get a book at a auto parts store to get correct specs.or you can save 25 dollars and do what I do and look at the book in the store and just write down the specs.
Nissan will adjust your valves for 75.00,just call them.
this is a big job , pull off intake manifold and the heads to get to the lifters , and when you put it back together adjust your valves . if not done correctly you could ruin engine.
on a 350 engine to adjust valves tighten them down with engine running then back them off until it smooths out probably about a quarter of a turn
adjust the chock if it has carb.
you dont they are self adjusting with the tentioner pully...
