If you have a carburetor, there should be a throttle adjustment screw right next to where the throttle cable connects.

Additionally, if you have a carburetor on an F250, the truck is likely a 1987 or older. Not absolutely certain, but I believe Ford has been putting fuel injection on all models since at least then.

1993 F250 idles too high?

I Would say the choke on your one barrel carburetor is sticking Start the engine. Let the engine reach operating temperature.Remove your Air cleaner to your Carburetor while the engine is running.Look down the throat of the carburetor and you will see a round flap A.K.A the butterfly. This flap should be completely open when the engine is at operating temperature open so that the air can pass through the throat of the carburetor freely. If you don't understand how a choke works go to howstuffworks and ask how a carburetor choke works and it will all make since.

How do you adjust emergency cable in 2004 ford f250 supper cab?

good question. you do not adjust cable on emergency brake in 2004 f250. the emergency brakes are drum type brakes inside the rear brake disk on each wheel.if you know how o adjust drum brakes it is the same adjustment for emergency brake on this vehicle. on the back of the drum there is a small rubber cap. remove this cap and with a flat screwdriver or adjuster tool, you turn the the serated wheel inside the brake drum to adjust the brake shoes out till nearly touching the brake drum it is best to do this with the rear wheels jacked up off the ground, so you can spin the wheel while adjusting. by spinning wheel you will feel when brake shoe is starting to slow wheel and you will then know to stop adjusting. do this on both wheels if you over adjust you will burn brakes out and have to replace brake shoes. this is a pain as you have to remove the disk brake caliper and rotoar to get at the emergency brake
