The firing order on your 4.0 L OHV engine is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 ) The engine cylinders are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear on the passenger side of the engine and 4 , 5 , 6 from front to rear on the driver's side of the engine On your coil pack , the row of three nearest the passenger side is numbered 1 , 2 , 3 from front to rear and the row of three nearest the drivers side is numbered 5 , 6 , 4 from front to rear
