It depends entirely on the year, make and model on how and where you can check fuel pressure. In order to officially and properly check the fuel pressure you will need a fuel pressure gauge and a set of adapters and fittings that typically come in a relatively expensive kit.
Most GM, Ford and Chrysler engines will have a Schrader valve located on the pressure side of the fuel line, usually near the fuel rail that houses the injectors. If the fuel line has one of these valves then you can screw on a fitting that attaches to a fuel pressure gauge, crank the engine and see the fuel pressure. If the vehicle does not have one of these valves then a specific, special fitting that comes with part of the fuel pressure tester kit needs to be installed in line on the pressure side of the fuel lines somewhere where the line can be disconnected.
in the tank, same unit as the fuel pump, it is a bad design
In order to change a fuel pressure regulator in a 2000 Ford Contour, start by relieving the pressure from the fuel system. The regulator is part of the fuel pump module. Place the new regulator in position in the engine and tighten any bolts.?æ
check valve is location is on the brake boster vacuum hope this helps i just put one on the only check valve i know is for the emissions vapor purge system. check valve is on the top of the fuel tank.this will give you a check engine light with a evap failure code. or are you looking for the valve to check fuel pressure? that is on the fuel injector rail.more info will give more help
The diesel engine can operate at 12:1 to 24:1 at idle.
Check your tire pressure. And driving habits along with actual driving route drastically effects mileage.
It is item 24 on the diagram
key on 34-39 at idle 24-36
The fuel consumption will vary depending on the driver/use of the engine. In a test environment running at a constant 1800RPM over a 12 hour period the engine will consumer between 24-26L/Hour.
If the car is Fuel Injected then the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. It is mounted on the top of the tank. Most cars that are not fuel injected will have the pump mounted on the front side of the engine block.
how do you turn off the check engine light on a 1995 Nissan maxama i have already disconnected the battery dor 24 hours
Oil pressure ( Minimum ) 1000 RPMs 6 LBS 2000 RPMs 18 LBS 4000 RPMs 24 LBS It must have at least that much oil pressure at these different RPMs to LUBE the engine. If it has 80 LBS are more then the oil pump check valve is not working correctly
Ain't got one if it's a 2.4L. Go to the salvage yard and cut one from an old car. (a couple inches on each side of the "schrader" valve that your talking about. And find one that has a cap on it. Then break out the tubing cutter again and cut that same lenght out of the larger metal fuel line that runs across the top of your engine and insert the Schrader , connected with 2 rubber tubes and 4 small hose clamps. So... in short, you must build it yourself and then install it yourself. But the good thing is ,Now, you can check the pressure anytime you want to in the future. There are 5 of these Z cars in this family. I done 2 out of 5 with this set-up (with one of those now has interior fuel pressure gauge and I can check it at the blink of an eye.
