a misdemenor ISNT considered a crime
The correct answer is YES. If the question is have you been convicted of a crime. If the question is have you been convicted of a felony then your answer should be no.
You say no, since you have never committed a felony. Period. Don't volunteer anything not specifically asked of you.
If you were convicted, yes.
It depends on what the charges are. If it was anything to do with drugs or theft probally not. You can also seal your records(not for all charges), so on your job app you can mark the box that's says you have NOT been convicted of a crime.
It really depends on what is asked. If the question is, have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime? Then the answer would have to be yes. If the question is, have you ever been convicted of a crime, then the answer is no.
Honestly. If you lie, it will be found out sooner or later. Most employers can easily check a background, and larger ones usually do.
yes he was. i forgot what it was but it was a crime.
yes killing a police dog is just the same as a human officer .
Huh? It means exactly what it says. How much clearer coudl it be?
Most places ask if you have ever been convicted of a felony , the usually do not run a check for misdemeanor crimes, if it was me I would leave it off. <><><><> If the question is related to your work (especially if the work involves driving), you had better list it.
It depends. I have seen applications which ask if there has been a felony conviction in "X" number of years, and I have seen applications which ask if you have EVER been convicted of a felony or crime. So each application would be a case-by-case basis. If your conviction was ten years ago and the application asks about the last seven, I would say no. Similarly, some applications ask if you have ever been convicted of a crime, not just a felony. So a misdemeanor would also have to be disclosed. Most states allow you to set aside or expunge your record. Generally you can not have been convicted of a violent crime or sexual crime to be eligible. Once you apply for and are approved by the courts for this process you no longer need to answer "yes" to the criminal conviction question, regardless how long it has been. Your record will still show up on fingerprint-based background checks, but more commercial checks which just ask for your SSN and DOB won't find it.
Never. Convicted felons are prohibited from ever owning a gun, regardless of the crime for which they were convicted.
Only of the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald.
You answer truthfully. If you lie and get the job you will be fired when they find out. Many jobs also do background checks and it will come out anyway, so tell the truth.
