An an indivdual you need to have a good understanding of your own place in the world and the influences your own socialisation will have had on your view of the world ie if you are black/white male/female able bodied/disabled gay/straight you will have very distinct experiences of the world and this will influence your view of others particularly those who have different experiences, for example If you were brought up by two parents you may believe this is "right way" rather than "our way". To practice in a way that is truly anti discriminatory you will need to account for your own prejudices and actively challenge your own beliefs, even then that's only on a personal level, there is also institutional discrimination you will have to account for does your employer take into account that people are discriminated against in society and how do they account for this? Also social disadvantages such as social divisions and societal discrimination and oppression (think who has the power in society and what impact this has? if white men make policies it is truly responsive to or representative of the needs of women? black people? etc) and how this impacts on individuals lives.
I'm sorry if this doesnt help but when i looked it up someone had answered "its a secret" and i just thought that's so sad so ive tried to be helpful

Anti-discriminatory practice is the practice of not discriminating against anyone based on any form of prejudice. It refers mostly to services such as medical or law and means that they cannot turn someone away due to race, gender, health, religious beliefs, or sexuality. To promote anti-discriminatory practice means to be for it and get others to believe in it an practice it as well.
The mental health act promotes anti-discriminatory practices because it prevents employers from hiring or firing employees based on an individual's mental health status.
