Well.. In 7th grade you don't really want to be dating. I know that hormones are hard and they make you really want to have boyfriends/girlfriends, but 7th grade dating is something I wouldn't recommend. It's hard at that time because the boys are just starting to mature and the girls are trying to act really mature so it seems like the guys and girls are from different planets.

Ok. Well I know that you probably didn't want to hear all of that so I will answer your question.

You would ask him/her out the same way you would at any other age where you can't drive anywhere or go out on romantic dates for dinner. You first start to flirt and then you turn the conversation on who they like or what they think about dating. Then you can ask them if they like you and then ask them to be your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Some flirting tips, you can ask them about their opinion on something like for example "Hey, my mom is taking me to the bookstore and I didn't know what to get. What book do you recommend?" or "I got a new XBox last week and I don't know any good games. Do you?" Then turn the conversation by saying like "Umm... Someone told me that you liked so-and-so and I was just wondering if this was true." Then you can talk about that and then tell them you like them.

DO NOT SEND A FRIEND TO ASK HER OUT! This is a major turn off and will make her think you don't like her enough to ask her out in person. Also, don't send an email or text message for the same reason. Be cool, but not too cool or she will think you are overconfident. If she turns you down, I would say one of two things:

1) "Ok, maybe some other time!"

or

2) "Ok, but can we stay friends?"

Remember not to be bitter if she turns you down. There are other girls out there, and there may be hope for you yet!

Most importantly, make sure you have a friendship with her before you ask her out. Otherwise, you could be seen as "creepy". If you are not friends, it will be awkward because you don't know her at all!

Why not? if you really like her it does not matter what age.

- The answer at the top is right! Im going on eighth grade and this year a boy asked me out by sending his friend and i was like "NO" only because he didn't have the guts to ask me himself. Be confident and hope for the best :)

If you dont want to be a wimp then just go and ask her in person. its not that hard if she says no then she says no it's not the end of the world.
