Hi, The Throttle Position Sensor is located on the back side of the throttle body, towards the firewall of the van. You may have to remove the big air intake hose to get to it. You should see three wires coming out of the electrical connector to the sensor. The colors are Black, Gray, and Dark Blue. Had the same issue with 1996 -its the senors in your transmission-has 2 -need to put on diagnostics for which is causing it and then to replace parts -approximate cost for for part 60.00 cad -labour 1200.00 to 1600.00
