A good glaze recipe for a ham includes; mustard, honey and cola. Firstly, spread mustard and honey evenly over the ham, before pouring cola around the ham joint. Finally, the ham should be placed in the oven to bake.
The simplest way is to rub brown sugar ovet the outside of the ham before you cook it. You can also mix brown sugar with a little warm water to melt it and pour it on the ham in its final 1/2 hour of baking/reheating.
You can also mix brown suger together with pinnaple and pour that over! you can also after you do that you can drizzle honey over your ham...Let it bake on and it will tast so delecious expesially if you like to eat the skin, also good with chicken.
To Make Glaze: Combine brown sugar, Pineapple Juice and mustard. To glaze the ham, spoon off fat from the baking pan 20 to 30 minutes before the end of the baking time. Brush the glaze over the ham.

Place ham, fat side up on rack in open roasting pan. Bake in 350* oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Combine sugar, mustard and pineapple juice. The best way to glaze a ham is to use a brown sugar and honey based glaze recipe which will be added to the ham approximately half way through the cooking process of the ham. Depending on desired sweetness, varying recipes can be followed, but generally speaking the longer a ham is cooked with the glaze mixture on it, the sweeter the ham will taste.
Spoon ham glaze over ham and baste during last 30 minutes of baking time. * 1/2 cup apricot preserves * 1/2 cup honey * 1 tablespoon cornstarch * 3 tablespoons lemon juice * 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves Ham glaze directions

To make a simple glazed roast ham, you will need:
Firstly, preheat the oven to 170 Celcius or Gas Mark 3. Pat the ham dry with kitchen roll.
Next, place the ham in a shallow roasting tin, score the fat in a pattern similar to a criss-cross. In a small bowl, mix the mustard, maple syrup or honey and brown sugar. Cover the ham completely with the glaze using either a brush or a spoon.
Lastly, roast the uncovered ham for 2 hours in the preheated oven, or until heated through. Leave it to rest for 15 minutes before carving to stop it from drying out.

Remove ham from oven 1/2 hour before end of cooking time. Empty contents of the Honey & Spice packet into small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of warm water. Heat glaze mixture on high, stirring constantly, until glaze begins to boil. Remove immediately from heat. Using a glazing brush, apply glaze immediately by brushing it evenly over the surface of the warm ham. (For a thicker coating, allow glaze to cool 4 to 5 minutes before applying to ham.) If ham was place in cooking bag, carefully cut bag open and pull away from ham, then apply glaze. Bake glazed ham uncovered at 250 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove glazed ham from oven and serve.

You get a stick free pan and you lay the ham down first then put the cheese on top of the ham.
You can bake the ham and yams in the oven at the same time. If you are baking the ham for several hours, put the yams in about an hour before the ham is finished. Or put the yams in at the same time as the ham, and test them by piercing with a fork after about 45 minutes.

On 450 degress, about 4 hours. Ham of that size take a very long time. SURROUND IT IN FOIL!!!!!!!!!!! Bake at 325 degrees for about 3 til 4 hours checking it periodically to make sure it's not drying out. Cover ham with tin foil. I always like to marinate my ham with Liquid Smoke & honey on ham & it always turns out very juicy & delicious. Last year I decided to do a test just to see what would happen if I baked a ham at 20 minutes per pound, needless to say the ham was so dry it was pathetic, DO NOT BAKE HAM FOR 20 MIN PER POUND. This was a test to prove some people wrong & once again I was right on how long a ham should bake.
