Being a scene kid doesn't have any real answer to it. "Scene kid" is a label. So start off by not calling yourself a scene kid.

I'm gonna try and explain this the best I can.

Scene kids are very very VERY VERY VERY confident. [[That is very important to having the attitude of a scene kid]]

Scene kids also buy clothes from Hot Topic, Pac Sun, Zumiez, and sometimes thrift stores.

They wear tight band T-Shirts [[Don't buy the shirt unless you know a lot about the band like songs, band member names, etc.]] They wear skinny Jeans <-- a must and shoes like Vans and bright Nikes

For make up:

Eye liner [[Lots of it]]

Bright eye shadow [[If you want]]

Mascara

Side note: Make sure you don't go for all black and/or dark colors [[You don't want people calling you "emo"]]

HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hair makes a scene kid.

Most scene kids cut their own hair but if you get it cut by someone else or whatever floats your boat, ask for them to razor your hair.

Razoring your hair is mainly a bunch or random layers all over the place [[I didn't do a good definition so just say "Razor my hair"]]

Do not ask to get it thinned out. Thinning out your hair and Razoring is NOT the same.

In your hair you would usually have cute bows [[From Hot Topic]]

or a headband [[depends on the style you're going for]]

Also, poof out your hair [[If you want, but it's a common thing among the scene kids]]

I can't tell you exactly what to listen to

It really depends on what you like.

Well most scene kids listen to stuff like All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Breath Carolina, Surrender the Dancefloor, Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, etc.

The Generas are like Techno, Screamo, Alternative, etc.

Remember, don't randomly go "scene" because you will be called a poser.

Becoming "scene" is a long process.
