I've helped many others with a simple exercise that can be practiced. Please see my article at SelfGrowth.com, for the instructions. It has been included to the related links section below.
Take a honest look at yourself and pay attention to the areas of your life where your not really happy change the perspective that you have on your self and take hold and feel good about you. I think we pay too much attention to others sometime and this makes us emotional.
Everyone has been blessed with emotion's. They are given to us for a reason, though there are some who are able to control their emotions more than others. Emotions are shown by an outwards sign, such as involuntary tears at a sad part in a film, or some other happening which causes us to show our emotions. There are few who are devoid of any form of emotion whether shown or kept within themselves. I will go to the extreme and say that a murderer will show no emotional signs at having killed someone, but within themselves there may be the emotional satisfaction of having committed the act.
