Don't drink is the only way to "beat" a breathalyzer. Or, get sober long before you drive, over many hours. The breathalyzer test is very sensitive. You cannot fool it. It will not help to chew gum or suck on mints.
There is one OTHER way to avoid a breathalyzer... have a designated sober driver.
Not really. You can delay it and take the breathalyzer at the station. It does measure your breath and you don't need to blow as hard as the cops will encourage you to.
I do not believe that there really is. But have heard that chewing very minty breath mints will throw it off.
I saw an episode of Mythbusters where they tried to beat the breathalyzer using tactics rumored to lower the reading. The results of their tests showed that none of the products worked except one (of which I can't remember the name). It actually made the breathalyzer read that the person had an incredibly dangerous amount alcohol in their blood. They did not try medication, but it is safe to say that there is no way to reduce breathalyzer results if you have had too much to drink.
Yes, in most states the breathalyzer is seen as a presumptive test.
It does not seem possible to beat the breath test. The Mythbusters' sixth episode in the first season busted this myth. They did find that mouth wash seriously messes with the readings. If you're looking to beat the Breathalyzer, this would probably be the best idea to pursue. If the readings are messed up, they do test you again, however. If the second test's readings are different, they will probably do a blood alcohol test, which doesn't seem to be cheat able.
Best method of beating this test is to suck on charcol or put an old little filter in your mouth when you take it Without a doubt, the absolute best way to beat a breathalyzer is to stay sober when driving an automobile.
no drugs can be detected on a breathilizer. a breathalyzer is used to tell if someone is drunk.
The best information that i could attain was on winikapedia. It gives a run down on everything that there is to know about a breathalyzer and how it works. The link to it is here if your interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breathalyzer.

The Breathalyzer is a device which can be used to test the alcohol content level in blood. If you want to know more information on this. You can check here http://www.rapiddrugdetection.com/Alcohol-Breathalyzer-p-1-c-250.html
