It is best to take a babysitting corse somewhere in your community, or ask someone who knows a lot about babysitting to help you find information. Once you have done that, you should put up flyers around your neighborhood advertising that you are a babysitter and put contact information so that potential clients can contact you. Also, you can talk to people that you know that have children and ask them if they need a babysitter. Sometimes it is best to start off with watching children while the parents are somewhere in the house doing something else, just to get a feel for watching children but without the full responsibility.
how can you get a babysitting job if your 13 years of age? Well, you could make fliers with your name and number on them and post them around town, or you could make business cards also with your name and number on them.
1. Go to a babysitting class. They might have one at a local hospital.
2. Make some flyer's and give them to people that have younger kids. DON'T go up to strangers and ask!
3. Ask questions about the house you are sitting in and where stuff like a phone is, cleaning supplies, first aid supplies, things a kid may need if they were to have Allergies.
4. Know contact numbers of the parents and any close neighbors they trust.
5. Make sure the doors are locked at all times and don't go out of the house or let the kids outside for any reason.
6. Don't try to cook anything that needs to be done on the stove. Do something easy like Sandwiches or something that you just need to warm up in the microwave.
7. Bring some games that the kid or kids may like to play.
Do these things and you will have a great babysitting experience!
parents put a lot of trust in babysitters, because they'll be looking after their kids obvious, I'm not too sure they'll put that trust in a 12 year old, but you might have some luck if you perhaps ask to babysit someone's children that you know maybe just for a few hours.
make sure you express how much you want to be a babysitter right now, because in the near future you will be old enough by a lot of people's standards and they are more likely to trust you if they know you've wanted to do it for a while.
yes

NO! A normal babysitting age IS anywhere from 10-13. I mean starting out babysitter, especially if they are babysitting their own siblings.
yes most people can get small jobs at the age of 12 or 13, some jobs are babysitting...working at the library...tutor
I believe the only job is babysitting at your age but in a couple years you can work at a grocery store.
It's up to the parents. There are very few babysitting laws, though. 11-13 year olds probably won't get far in the babysitting business, especially if they have not been through a CPR & First-Aid class. Though, 11-15 year olds would be breaking the law if they were babysitting a child under 3 years old.
