There are many ways to find your ancestors. The best ones cost a little money. I use Family Tree Maker 2005. With it you can access national and worldwide databases of family trees (for a small fee). There is a bunch of information available but you should expect to pay for it.
For example, using Family Tree Maker, I have filled in my family tree going all the way back to the late 1600's. I now have about 1,000 people in my tree; all managed by Family Tree Maker. If you are serious about finding ancestors, this is a great way to do it.

The ladies at the library in Strathroy are marvellous. They have old newspapers from the Strathroy Age. I also found the ladies at the Museum to be very helpful. Also there are many websites for you to check your "ROOTS" that are free for you to post queries. You might like to post a few messages under the surnames you are looking for or you can post under the County "Wellington". You can also do a search for the surname in your regular search boxes. The 1901 and 1911 Canadian census transcriptions are well under way and since you know the area you are search, you may find them in the census.Happy Hunting.
