The coolant system capacity for a 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3 liter diesel is : 32.75 quarts ( 31.0 liters ) That includes the heater and 5.0 quarts ( 4.7 liters ) in the coolant recovery tank
To bleed the coolant in a 1995 Dodge intrepid locate the drain plug on the underside of the radiator, un plug it and pour new coolant in the system. Close the plug and while the engine is running find the coolant pressure valve and loosen it to relieve pressure. When bubbles stop forming there is no longer air in the system.
Fill the radiator to the top with coolant. Start the car and keep checking the coolant level. The coolant level will drop when the thermostat opens up, so refill it.
The cooling system bleed valve, on your General Motors 5.7 liter engine, is located on the bottom of the radiator. The bleed valve should be in the middle of the radiator bottom.
On a 2001 Ford Excursion : The 5.4 liter V8 has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils and the 6.8 liter V10 has ( 10 ) individual coils so there isn't a distributor cap
Fill the over flow tank to where it should be and just run the engine as usual. The system bleeds itself, Just check the over flow tank to make sure there is enough coolant in it.
Ford Excursion
crank it over till it starts
You can use any SAE certified coolant in your Kia 1.1 liter engine. The coolant in your cooling system should be a minimum of 50 percent anti-freeze.
On a Ford Excursion ( if it has a gasoline engine ) ( the 5.4 liter V8 engine has 8 spark plugs ) ( the 6.8 liter V10 engine has 10 spark plugs )
No it does not.
There is a gold color bleeder screw on the thermostat housing. Open it up and add coolant until the fluid comes out of the bleeder screw with no bubbles. Then just tighten it back up and put the cap on.
