With the Power Steering reservoir filled to the correct level, turn the wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right. Check fluid level. Repeat if necessary. Refill reservoir if necessary.

∙ 12y agoThere should not be any air in the system. The system will need to be recovered, evacuated and recharged to the manufactures specifications.
in order to do this it is necessary to have a vacuum machine. unless you have $3000+ laying around you will have to take it to a shop.

∙ 9y agoRemove the cap from the overflow bottle. Turn the heat on high and start the car. Add coolant as needed. You may have to repeat he process several times to remove the air from the system.
