In Canada, they have set up a "no call list". you can call and tell them to add you to it, and you will not be bothered by telemarketers.
Answer: Register your phone number in THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY at https:/www.donotcall.gov I have found this effective. I have not got telemarketing calls around dinner time a few weeks after I registered.

∙ 12y agoYou cannot really block telemarketing calls, but you can put your number in the do not call list. There are mixed results with this. Many people have complained they have not seen a reduction in sales calls. It is a government site www.donotcall.gov
