If you mean how can you solve a problem involving black magick used against you, my answer would be to learn magick. Meditating is a good idea. Black Magic is a kind of magic in which evil jinn are used. Its magic but humans controlling jinn's and using them to harm human e.g. (in voodoo as a pin in inserted in a doll hand the jinn will insert it in the persons hand for whom the doll was made for.)

How dose it effect us?

Well it depends on the strength of your soul, a weak Soul get effected where as a strong soul dose not. How do you make your soul strong?
