AnswerYou need to have a clear understanding of what change you wish to bring about, and how broad that change should be. Do you want to change only your own local church, perhaps by replacing the minister, or by changing his or her ministry? Do you want to change the format, governance or teachings of your entire denomination? Or do you, like Martin Luther, want to change the direction or teachings of Christianity?

Sometimes it is just a matter of getting elected to your church board, or to the synod if it has a place for lay people. You can lobby members of your congregation or higher authority, as appropriate.
